For this truly awesome co-op I have had the honor of working with StarTalk Radio. StarTalk
Radio is a show created by Director/Host, astrophysicists Neil deGrasse Tyson, in which he and his
comedic co-host or celebrities guest discuss a range of topic and answers the hard hitting questions
about the universe and world we live on. His goal is to share his knowledge with people worldwide.
As an intern at StarTalk I help with many ongoing projects, but the main work that I do is
managing the StarTalk SoundCloud account while also creating 1-2 minute long clips called Cosmic
Minutes, as well as 2-5 minute long clips called StarTalk SoundBites. These clips are brief moments or
cool discussions cut from the full length hour long episodes.
Here are some examples of SoundBites
and Cosmic Minutes I made:

As an intern I also work from home in Denver, CO since StarTalk Radio does not have a main
headquarters. Because of this I work on my own schedule (for the most part) and usually spend my
days improving on my audio editing skills and artistry.
I also have helped with preparations, and did meet and greet tours at a StarTalk Live! event in
Austin, TX, where I was able to meet Bill Nye the Science Guy (for free).
