Buen Dia Family School

Teaching Assistant

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the head teacher the student will work in the classroom with children ages 3 to 5 years. The student will help prepare art projects, set up outdoor activities, make snack with children, read stories in small groups, participate in clean-up and assist the teachers as needed.

Qualifications:

Student must possess responsible work habits, be culturally sensitive, demonstrate patience and thoughtfulness, take direction well and enjoy children. Units in Early Childhood Education preferred and a working knowledge of Spanish language helpful.

Learning Opportunities:

The student will learn about early childhood development in a preschool setting. He/she will have the opportunity to work with experienced teachers in the field and learn the Buen Dia Family School educational philosophy.
