Communications Intern
Tasks & Responsibilities:
The individual selected for this position will, with the support of the Quality Systems Director, the Steering Committee and Human Resource Director, assume responsibility for continuing the development and implementation of a training program system to assess and record individual employee skill levels. In addition, he/she may also assist with other related projects. Evaluate and update existing training program system, Research and assess related software and tools, Interview employees and facilitate focus groups to understand quantifiable skill requirements related to their role, ssist with the development of processes and form to be utilized by internal trainers, Assist with internal training related to system updates., Create and conduct presentations to promote the value of the system and ensure all employees understand the function and use, Perform data entry related to the project, Assist with other projects based on organizational needs and individual interest.
Qualifications:
Students pursuing a degree Communications, or Human Resource Management preferred, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong interpersonal skills. Able to develop and maintain solid working relationships with colleagues at all levels and all departments within an organization, Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, Excellent organizational skills, Collaborative, team player. Self-motivated and a self-starter.
