Documentary Film Marketing & Distribution Assistant
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Compress and upload preview and feature files to streaming platform
• Assist in managing and developing community and national outreach database
• Compress and upload preview and feature files to streaming platform
• Fulfillment of educational orders of films from our collection
• Research industry trends, festivals and new emerging documentaries
• Creatively assist in the development of promotional materials and graphics for print, e-marketing and our websites
• Writing Blog/ Newsletter Copy for publication
• Brainstorm strategies and develop content for our social media presence
• Organize various Collective Eye assets and deliverables
• Assist in the research, preview and evaluation of documentary films for distribution consideration
Qualifications:
• Passion for films as a vehicle for social and environmental change
• General knowledge of documentary film and/or experience desired, not required
• Have experience working with Mac operating system, basic competence with Microsoft office, Adobe Creative suite, Google Doc, and various Social Media platforms.
• Display a strong work ethic and have the ability to work well independently or with group.
