International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP)

Studio Assistant (Administrative Intern position is also available)

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Work with an accomplished professional artist or curator; learn firsthand how they research, produce, their practice! Undergraduate and graduate students benefit from this mentorship program in a wide variety of ways including becoming part of the ISCP community of professional international visual artists and curators. Studio assistants get a valuable insider’s view of a professional artist’s practice. Residents and assistants are matched based on their mutual interests and skills. ISCP resident practices range from performance to painting to multi-media. Assistants also attend select field trips and exclusive program opportunities to learn about international artist practice. Among ISCP’s illustrious alumni are Theaster Gates, Camille Henrot (winner of the 2013 Venice Biennale’s emerging artist award) and Jesper Just, among many others.

Qualifications:

Reliable and engaged a must. Skills in Creative Suite, Excel/Word, research and production are always helpful.
