Community Organizer

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Our community organizers educate Denver-Metro residents about survivor services and the impact of sexual assault. We engage support through recruiting volunteers and fundraising for programs.

Qualifications:

Strong communication skills and genuine commitment to progressive and social justice issues. Some college training or related field of study preferred. Non-profit career development interest and desire to work for progressive organization dedicated to ending sexual violence.

Learning Opportunities:

We are committed to teaching students the necessary skills to communicate and advocate on social justice issues. New employees receive extensive training and continuing support on issue knowledge and campaign skills. All staff members receive regular updates given by sexual assault response authorities. We have a strong and early focus on staff career development that involves travel and management training opportunities.
