Regional Development Assistant/ Tea Farmer

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Regional development activities (The job will change depend on seasons.) April-June: To assist a tea farmer. July-September: To assist a tea farmer and Wazuka tea café. October-December: To assist Wazuka tea café and plan Chagenkyo festival

Qualifications:

① A bright and energetic personality ②Strong work ethic and positive attitude ③Interested in tea, Japanese culture and history ④Interested in regional development activities. ① and ② are necessary. If you have either ③ or ④, that’s better.

Learning Opportunities:

① To learn the process from Japanese tea cultivation to commercialization ②To learn history and culture of Japanese tea③To experience living in a beautiful countryside ④To be able to connect the experience to the future through joining regional development activities
