Student Spotlight: Jacob Seitz ’20

Driven and passionate about making a difference, Jacob Seitz ’20 set his sights on a first co-op experience in Washington D.C. It was there that he discovered the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). Jacob went through the competitive application process and successfully landed the role of Corporate Relations and Supplier Diversity Intern.
In his blog, Jacob discusses the overall mission of the NGLCC and the work it does to assist LGBTQ+ owned businesses across the country and set them up for greater success. He further details what his contributions where to the team which, though at times consisted of behind the scenes administrative tasks, proved to be of huge assistance in keeping things running soothingly and efficiently at the organization.
Jacob comments, “…my co-op has been extremely helpful as I have learned much about myself, my interests, my abilities, and my drive.”
